ISLAMABAD, The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case against three Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation (PASCO) officials for allegedly embezzling over a billion rupees (PKR) during Bardana (wheat bages) distribution.
The case implicates Zahoor Ranjha (GM Field), Rao Akram (Zonal Head Burewala), and Gibran Iqbal (Zonal Head Bahawalnagar). They are accused of misappropriating funds exceeding PKR 1.2 billion in connection with wheat cargo distribution.
According to reports, FIA initiated the investigation upon a request from Pasco’s Additional Director General, Shazia Altaf. The investigation centers on allegations of bribery, with claims that Ranjha and Akram embezzled PKR 12.72 crore, while Iqbal allegedly diverted PKR 95.94 crore.
