Occupied Jerusalem: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has appointed Mohammad Mustafa as the new Prime Minister of Palestine.

According to international media reports, the new Palestinian Prime Minister, Mohammad Mustafa, is a well-known business personality and will lead a technocratic government.

Reports suggest that Mohammad Mustafa has been an advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for quite some time.

Mohammad Mustafa has received education from the United States and is an expert in economics.

It is worth remembering that in February, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh announced his resignation from his post.

Man shot 6 times after fight erupts at Brooklyn train station

A violent gun fight erupted between two passengers, on a packed Brooklyn train, Thursday afternoon, during which a straphanger shot the apparent agitator in the head, New York Post reported.

According to New York Police Department (NYPD) Chief Michael Kemper, the fight erupted between a 32-year-old and an “aggressive” 36-year-old on northbound Train A.

According to video obtained by the police, the 36-year-old, can be heard and seen instigating the other man as well as hurling curses.

The two men soon began fighting, pouncing on each other.

During the skirmish, the alleged aggressor, who had, what looked like to be a knife or a razor, took out a gun from his black jacket.

After that the train erupted in screams, with other passengers all rushing towards the other end.

The 32-year-old, whose name has not been revealed, managed to snatch away the gun, before shooting him multiple times.

Once the train stopped, all the other passengers rushed out, while police arrived at the station and arrested the shooter.

According to reports, the man was shot six times and is in critical condition. Police suspect the two men to be total strangers.

Since the beginning of the year, this is the eight shooting incident that has occurred on train stations in New York city, an increase by 700% from the same time period compared to last year.

At least three have been killed, while 17 gun arrests have been made so far this year on the subways.
