Palestinian Ambassador Visits National Press Club Islamabad, Praises Pakistan’s Support

During the visit, Secretary Nayyar Ali briefed the ambassador on the structure, role, and activities of the NPC.

Islamabad — The Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan, Dr. Zaher Zahid, paid a visit to the National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad, where he was warmly received by President Azhar Jatoi, Secretary Nayyar Ali, Senior Vice President Ehtesham-ul-Haq, Vice President Syed Zafar Hashmi, Joint Secretary Javed Bhagat, and other governing body members.

During the visit, Secretary Nayyar Ali briefed the ambassador on the structure, role, and activities of the NPC.

Speaking at the occasion, Ambassador Dr. Zaher Zahid expressed deep gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the enduring brotherhood between Pakistan and Palestine. He said, “A strong Pakistan is essential for the survival of Palestine. From the very beginning, Pakistan has stood by Palestine and has advocated for our cause at every international platform. Our hearts beat together.”

He described the relationship between the two countries as historic and deeply rooted, noting that Palestinians consider Pakistan their second home and hold a profound love for its people. The ambassador also extended sincere thanks to the Pakistani government and people for their unwavering support and humanitarian assistance to the oppressed Palestinian people.

Following the formal meeting, Dr. Zaher Zahid was given a guided tour of the National Press Club facilities.
