The rest of the team is expected to arrive shortly.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s T20 squad has begun assembling in Bangladesh ahead of the much-anticipated three-match T20I series, which kicks off on July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
The tour marks another step in Pakistan’s preparation for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup cycle, and Mike Hesson’s team is expected to face its first real challenge against a surging Bangladesh side on their home turf.
The squad traveled in two groups from Karachi to Dhaka via Dubai, with the first batch of players already in Bangladesh. The first batch of players to arrive for the Pakistan-Bangladesh series included Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, and Faheem Ashraf, along with members of the support staff, including the newly appointed coaches.
The rest of the team is expected to arrive shortly.

The T20I series will be played entirely in Dhaka, with all three matches taking place at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on July 20, 22, and 24. This tour offers a valuable platform for Pakistan’s new-look side to send a message to the world ahead of important ACC and ICC tournaments coming up.
The series is expected to draw strong attention in both countries, especially as Pakistan continues to rotate players ahead of a packed white-ball international calendar.
