Pakistan’s National Security, Gaza, Terrorism and Regional Policy Explained to Digital Media
Special Security Briefing Held for YouTubers and Vloggers on National and Regional Issues
Rawalpindi-(Mudasssar Iqbal/News Desk)-A high-level security briefing was held for prominent YouTubers and vloggers, during which a senior security official provided a comprehensive overview of Pakistan’s national security outlook, regional dynamics, and key international developments. The session aimed to promote informed discourse, counter misinformation, and encourage responsible engagement by digital media platforms, particularly those influencing youth opinion.
During the briefing, participants were taken into confidence on a wide range of strategic issues through a national security lens. The officials responded in detail to all questions raised by attendees, emphasizing transparency, national interest, and unity. At the conclusion of the session, participants expressed appreciation for the clarity, depth, and candid nature of the briefing delivered by the security authorities.
The security official reiterated that Pakistan will safeguard its national interests under all circumstances, stressing that every major national decision is centered on the welfare, sovereignty, and long-term stability of the country and its people. It was underscored that no external or internal force would be allowed to compromise Pakistan’s core interests.
Addressing civil–military relations, the briefing categorically stated that no one can create a divide between the armed forces and the people of Pakistan, as the bond between the nation and its defenders is deep, resilient, and rooted in shared sacrifices. The official noted that all political parties and leadership are respected, provided no individual or group places personal or partisan interests above Pakistan.

The importance of acknowledging the role of the state and political leadership was also highlighted. According to security sources, timely and decisive decisions taken by political leadership deserve due credit, particularly in moments of national challenge. Positive engagement, it was emphasized, is essential to counter speculation and misinformation, and there should be no space for questioning anyone’s patriotism.
The media’s responsibility, especially digital content creators, was discussed at length. The briefing emphasized that media plays a critical role in guiding youth toward positive thinking, constructive dialogue, and national cohesion. Irresponsible narratives, it was cautioned, can unintentionally harm national unity and security.
On foreign policy, Pakistan’s principled and unwavering stance on the Palestine issue was reiterated. Security sources clarified that Pakistan will never act against the aspirations of the Palestinian people. The immediate priority for Pakistan and other Muslim countries, they said, is to stop the bloodshed in Gaza through political processes and dialogue.
Clarifying reports regarding a proposed Peace Board, the officials stated that no decision has been taken regarding the formation, mandate, or deployment of any force. The Peace Board, they explained, is intended solely for reconstruction, rehabilitation, and humanitarian support in Gaza, and its objectives are distinct from those of any international stabilization force. Any deployment of forces, they stressed, is strictly the prerogative of Parliament and the government.
The briefing firmly stated that Pakistan will not be a party to the disarmament of Hamas, declaring it a red line for the country. Pakistan’s participation in the Gaza Peace Board, security sources clarified, was decided after extensive consultations with eight major Islamic countries, reflecting a collective and deliberative approach.
It was further emphasized that only the United States has the leverage to restrain Israel, and that sustainable peace in Gaza can only be achieved through diplomacy rather than military escalation. Pakistan, the officials said, has consistently pursued a multilateral approach in its foreign policy, prioritizing dialogue and international consensus.
Discussing regional relations, the briefing reaffirmed that Pakistan–China relations remain strong and continue to deepen, based on mutual trust and shared strategic interests. Pakistan’s position on Afghanistan and India was described as unequivocally clear, with security sources pointing out that the nexus between hostile elements across borders has contributed to a rise in terrorism within Pakistan.
On Kashmir, the officials reiterated Pakistan’s long-standing position, stating that Pakistan will continue all efforts to secure the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions. “Kashmir will become Pakistan,” the briefing emphasized, remains a national resolve.
Counterterrorism efforts were discussed in detail, with security sources stressing that the National Action Plan (NAP) is a consensus document endorsed by all political parties, and its full implementation by all stakeholders is essential for the complete eradication of terrorism. The Pakistan Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, they said, are making round-the-clock sacrifices, but lasting success requires sincere intent and unified action across institutions.
Special attention was given to Balochistan, where improved security conditions were attributed to better governance, job creation, grassroots-level empowerment, institutional strengthening, and effective implementation of the National Action Plan. Officials noted that cross-border terrorist incidents have declined following Pakistan’s effective response to aggression from Afghanistan.
Regarding Marka-e-Haq, security sources clarified that all related decisions were taken by the government under the leadership of the Prime Minister, with the Pakistan Armed Forces providing professional advice. They added that following Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan’s politicians and diplomats demonstrated effective diplomacy, rendering valuable services to the nation.
The briefing also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to democratic continuity. Security sources stated that Pakistan will progress through democracy, and that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir firmly believes in the promotion of democratic values.
Concluding the session, officials stated that terrorism cannot be allowed under the guise of politics, business interests, or religion. They added that any provincial government seeking a similar security briefing should formally approach the federation. The session ended with a renewed call for responsible digital engagement in the national interest.
