Pakistan’s Gold Prices Decline as Global Market Cools Down
Following a rise, 24-karat gold drops to Rs275,000 per tola, with international prices down by $6
After witnessing a notable increase in recent days, gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Tuesday, reflecting a similar trend in global markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs700 per tola, bringing it down to Rs275,000.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold dropped by Rs600, settling at Rs235,768. The international gold market also experienced a dip, with prices falling by $6, positioning gold at $2,653 per ounce.
Despite the fluctuations in gold, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,050 per tola.
Last month, gold prices in Pakistan had reached a record high of Rs277,000 per tola, driven by significant movements in the global market.
