Pakistan’s Exports See 5.10% Increase in March 2025, Surpassing $2.61 Billion
Exports Up 7.69% to $24.69 Billion in First Nine Months of FY 2025
Islamabad: Pakistan’s exports saw a notable increase of 5.10% in March 2025, surpassing $2.61 billion, according to the latest statistics released by the Bureau of Statistics. The figure reflects growth from February’s $2.49 billion, and a 2% rise compared to March 2024.
Imports for March 2025 totaled $4.97 billion, leading to a 7.83% reduction in the monthly trade deficit, which stood at $2.11 billion. The figures indicate that the country’s efforts to manage trade imbalances are showing positive results.
The report also highlighted that during the first nine months of the fiscal year (July to March), exports grew by 7.69%, reaching $24.69 billion. Imports during this period grew by 6.33%, totaling $42.58 billion.
However, despite the increase in exports, the trade deficit for the July-March period rose by 4.50%, reaching $17.90 billion, as per the Bureau of Statistics.

The positive export growth in March provides a hopeful outlook for Pakistan’s trade performance in the remaining months of the fiscal year.
