Pakistani Teen Wins Sheikh Zayed Youth Camel Race
Eighteen-year-old Ahsan Yasin clinched the Golden Camel Trophy by winning the 2-kilometer race.
SHARJAH: A young Pakistani rider, Ahsan Yasin, has won the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Youth Camel Race, bringing pride to Pakistan.
The 54th Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Camel Racing Festival was held in Sharjah, featuring youth participants from more than 50 countries. The highly competitive event attracted young camel riders from across the world.
Eighteen-year-old Ahsan Yasin clinched the Golden Camel Trophy by winning the 2-kilometer race. He also earned a cash prize of 50,000 dirhams, equivalent to approximately Rs 3.8 million. Ahsan completed the race in an impressive time of 3 minutes and 47 seconds.

Despite starting the race in sixth position, Ahsan made a remarkable comeback, overtaking all competitors to secure first place. Alongside his engineering studies, he receives professional training at the Heritage Center in Dubai.
Expressing his joy after the victory, Ahsan Yasin said that seeing Pakistan’s green and white flag raised at an international event was an indescribable feeling and a moment of immense pride for him and his country.
