The operation highlighted enhanced coordination and intelligence-sharing between Pakistan’s security agencies. Strategically planned and executed, such operations aim to restrict Khwarij mobility, dismantle their support networks, and prevent them from regrouping. Early results indicate meaningful progress in restoring peace and stability to the area.
Authorities have launched a full-area sanitization operation to ensure no Indian-backed Khwarij remain in Bannu. This effort represents another milestone in the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the federal “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
