Pakistani Cyber Force Briefly Hijacks Indian Broadcaster ABP News
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Cyber Force reportedly carried out a retaliatory cyber operation on Monday, briefly disrupting broadcasts of Indian television channel ABP News, according to local sources.
During the incident, slogans supporting Pakistan were heard on the channel, while content related to the Pakistani military was aired without authorization. The broadcast reportedly included excerpts from speeches by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir.

The unauthorized transmission appeared to last for a short duration before normal programming was restored. Indian authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the nature or scope of the incident.

The reported cyber action follows claims that Pakistani media outlets were targeted a day earlier, allegedly by Indian intelligence-linked operatives, during which anti-Pakistan material was broadcast on a local news channel. Islamabad-based sources described Monday’s incident as a response to that alleged breach.
Cybersecurity experts warn that media infrastructure has increasingly become a frontline in regional information conflicts, raising concerns about escalation beyond conventional domains.
