Pakistani cricket team returns from New Zealand

Coach Aaqib Javed and Azhar Mehmood also arrived with the players.

LAHORE: The Pakistan cricket team arrived in Lahore late at night after concluding a tour of New Zealand, here on Tuesday.

All the coaching staff and other officials also arrived at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore, along with the team.

The players who returned to Pakistan include Imamul Haq, Salman Ali Agha, Mohammad Ali, Usman Khan, Abdullah Shafiq, Faheem Ashraf, and Irfan Khan Niazi.

Coach Aaqib Javed and Azhar Mehmood also arrived with the players.

The national cricket team won only one match during their tour to New Zealand.

The national cricket team suffered humiliating defeat in four T20 International matches against New Zealand.
The cricket team miserably failed to win a single match during the One-Day International cricket match during their tour to New Zealand.

Star batsman Mohammad Rizwan and former captain of the national cricket team Babar Azam were also part of the squad.
