USA-(Sports Reporter): Pakistani bodybuilder Rameez Ibrahim has secured a gold medal in the prestigious Mr. Universe 2024 competition, organized by the World Fitness Federation in Las Vegas, USA.
Competing alongside athletes from 44 other countries, Rameez represented Pakistan on the global stage. Some of the nations participating included Australia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Canada, Argentina, the UK, USA, Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, India, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Greece, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Ireland, Netherlands, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Brazil, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
In addition to winning the gold medal, Rameez earned a pro card in the Men’s Physique category, marking a major milestone in his bodybuilding career.
Following his victory, Rameez addressed his Instagram followers, responding to those who doubted his ability to achieve such a remarkable feat. He had earlier expressed his excitement at being selected for the world competition, despite the challenges he faced along the way.
In an interview with *GeoSuper.tv*, Rameez explained how difficult it had been to secure his entry into the international competition, lamenting the lack of support he received. “I didn’t have any backing to get my name registered for this event,” he revealed.

“Alhamdulillah, I made it, and now I’m preparing to win another title for Pakistan,” a determined Rameez added.
Rameez previously made history in 2022, when he won three world titles in Thailand, becoming the first Pakistani bodybuilder to achieve such an accomplishment. However, despite his success, he voiced disappointment over the lack of recognition in his home country.
“In 2022, I won three consecutive world titles for Pakistan, but received no acknowledgment here, which was very disheartening,” he said.
Nonetheless, he remains resolute. “No matter what, I will continue to represent my country with pride. The next competition is extremely important, and I’m working hard for it,” he concluded.
