DUBAI: Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem met FIFA President Gianni Infantino in Dubai on the sidelines of the Global Sports Summit.

During the meeting, Infantino inquired about Arshad Nadeem’s javelin throw, to which the Pakistani athlete responded that he had achieved a 92-meter throw and is now aiming to break that record. The FIFA president extended his best wishes to Arshad Nadeem, and the two also posed for photographs together.

Gianni Infantino was already aware of Arshad Nadeem’s sporting achievements, which pleasantly surprised the Pakistani javelin thrower when the FIFA chief mentioned them.

It is worth noting that Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem has recently been honored with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Award, named after the ruler of Dubai, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in athletics.
