Pakistan Women’s Volleyball Team Embarks on Training Tour to Italy

Islamabad, May 26, 2024: The Pakistan Women’s Volleyball Team departed from Islamabad today for a training tour to Italy, marking a significant milestone in their preparation for upcoming international tournaments.
Led by Captain Amna and Vice-Captain Rashida Shakeel, the team will be under the expert guidance of Head Coach Alessandra Campedelli from Italy, assisted by Pakistani coaches Malik Zahid and Waseem Rana.
During their stay in Italy, the team will engage in intense training sessions and play practice matches against local clubs, gaining valuable exposure and experience. This tour is aimed at enhancing the team’s skills, building their strength and endurance, and fostering teamwork and camaraderie.
“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to train in Italy and compete against top-notch teams,” said Captain Amna. “We are confident that this tour will help us improve our game and make us a stronger contender in international competitions.”

The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) has expressed its support for the team, acknowledging the importance of such training tours in the development of the sport.
