Pakistan Volleyball Team Stuns Qatar to Reach AVC Nation Cup 2025 Final

Islamabad: In a stunning upset, Pakistan’s national volleyball team defeated world No. 25 Qatar in straight sets to book their place in the final of the AVC Nation Cup 2025. The high-octane semifinal clash ended with Pakistan triumphing 25-22, 25-22, 25-21, marking a historic win for the team on the continental stage.
The match saw Outside Hitter Usman Fariyad Ali deliver an exceptional performance, while Setter Kashif Naveed orchestrated the offense with clinical precision, playing a pivotal role in Pakistan’s dominant display.
Chairman of Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF), Ch Muhammad Yaqoob, lauded the team’s remarkable achievement and congratulated the nation on what he called a “historic moment” against a formidable side like Qatar.
