Pakistan, US Agree to Boost Counter-Narcotics Cooperation

Islamabad – Pakistan and the United States have agreed to enhance cooperation on counter-narcotics and security issues, following a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen bilateral collaboration in intelligence sharing, combating drug trafficking, and preventing illegal immigration. The discussions emphasized joint measures to curb cross-border criminal activities and enhance security coordination.

The US envoy pledged full technical support to Pakistan in tackling narcotics and stopping unauthorized cross-border movement, underscoring the commitment of both countries to deepen security and law enforcement cooperation.
