Pakistan, UAE Sign Multiple MoUs to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

UAE FM Praises Pakistan's Role in UAE Development

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on Sunday, aimed at deepening cooperation across various sectors. The signing ceremony was attended by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The agreements include MoUs between Pakistan’s National Heritage and Culture Division and the UAE Ministry of Culture, as well as between the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Additionally, both nations signed MoUs for the establishment of a Joint Committee on Consular Affairs and the creation of a UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council, signaling enhanced collaboration on diplomatic and economic fronts.

During his visit to the Foreign Office, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his pleasure at visiting Pakistan and highlighted the strong and friendly ties between the two countries. “We value our relationship with Pakistan and will continue working to strengthen it further. Pakistanis have played an essential role in the development of the UAE,” he said.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the fraternal bond between the two nations, adding that Pakistan and the UAE are jointly working on several development projects. “Our cooperation continues to grow, and today’s MoUs reflect our shared vision for progress and prosperity,” he stated.

The high-level exchanges and agreements mark a new chapter in Pakistan-UAE relations, with expanded cooperation expected in trade, culture, diplomacy, and investment.
