Pakistan, UAE Discuss Strengthening Defence Cooperation

The UAE Ministry of Defence later issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to enhancing defence relations with Pakistan.

ABU DHABI: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Shafqat Ali Khan, met Ali Abdullah Mohammed Al-Ahmad, UAE Assistant Undersecretary for Defence Policies, at the UAE Ministry of Defence to discuss ways to further strengthen defence ties between the two countries.

According to details shared by the UAE Ministry of Defence on its official X account, the meeting focused on expanding bilateral defence cooperation and exploring new areas of mutual interest. Both sides also underscored the importance of closer collaboration to promote regional security and stability.

The UAE Ministry of Defence later issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to enhancing defence relations with Pakistan. Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, accompanied by his delegation, emphasized Pakistan’s resolve to deepen defence cooperation with the UAE.

Both parties agreed to continue working together to advance shared security objectives and further strengthen longstanding defence relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
