Pakistan Strongly Condemns Indian Defence Minister’s Provocative Remarks
Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty against any form of aggression.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly denounced the provocative remarks made by the Indian Defence Minister in response to recent media revelations about India’s covert operations within Pakistan.
In a televised interview, the Indian Defence Minister made inflammatory comments regarding India’s readiness to carry out extrajudicial executions of individuals labeled as “terrorists” on Pakistani soil. Pakistan categorically rejects such threats and considers them a blatant admission of India’s involvement in illegal activities.
On January 25, 2024, Pakistan presented compelling evidence exposing India’s campaign of transnational assassinations and extrajudicial killings within Pakistan. The international community is urged to hold India accountable for these egregious actions, which violate international law and infringe upon Pakistan’s sovereignty.
Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty against any form of aggression, as demonstrated by its resolute response to India’s reckless incursion in February 2019, which debunked India’s claims of military superiority.
India’s resort to hateful rhetoric and hyper-nationalistic sentiments for electoral gains is condemned by Pakistan. Such irresponsible behavior not only undermines regional peace but also hampers prospects for constructive engagement.
