Pakistan Facilitates International Media For US Iran Peace Talks Coverage
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that comprehensive arrangements have been made to facilitate both local and international journalists in Islamabad for coverage of the US-Iran peace talks. Speaking at a media center established at the Convention Centre, he highlighted that the government is ensuring smooth access and support for all media personnel covering the high-profile diplomatic engagement.
He noted that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has already announced visa-on-arrival facilities for journalists, reflecting Pakistan’s effort to support international media participation. According to him, around fifty journalists have already arrived, while more are expected in the coming days. Media representatives from countries including the United States, Iran, China, Japan, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea are currently in Islamabad to cover the talks.

The minister further said that the media center is fully equipped with high-speed internet, large screens, and modern facilities to support journalists in their reporting. Federal Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil described the occasion as historic, stating that the ministry’s goal is to provide a centralized, well-equipped environment that enables journalists to perform their duties effectively under optimal conditions.
