NDMA to Dispatch Urgent Humanitarian Aid to Palestine

ISLAMABAD – On July 29, 2025, the Government of Pakistan announced the immediate dispatch of critical humanitarian assistance to support the people of Palestine facing severe hardships. Acting under the direct orders of the Prime Minister, two chartered cargo aircrafts, each capable of carrying 100 tons of essential supplies, will be arranged by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, Chairman NDMA, has been tasked with organizing the flights, which will carry urgently needed food and relief items. These aid shipments are scheduled to be prepared and dispatched within the next two days.

The special cargo flights will be routed through Jordan and Egypt to ensure the quickest possible delivery to the affected regions. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, alongside the NDMA team, will personally oversee the send-off from Islamabad.

Pakistan’s ambassadors in Jordan and Egypt will facilitate the coordination of aid reception and onward distribution to the West Bank and other Palestinian territories, ensuring that assistance reaches those most in need promptly.

Reiterating its strong solidarity, the Government of Pakistan reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to standing with the Palestinian people during this difficult time.
