Saudi Chief of General Staff Meets Pakistan’s Army Chief at GHQ
Rawalpindi — General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Rowaili, Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, met General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday.
The two military leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, focusing on strengthening the long-standing and strategic defence ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They highlighted the need to further deepen cooperation in defence, security, and counter-terrorism, which remain key pillars of the relationship between the two countries.

General Rowaili appreciated Pakistan’s support and cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces across various sectors and reaffirmed his commitment to expanding bilateral military collaboration.
Upon his arrival at GHQ, General Rowaili laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and was presented with a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army.
