Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Reaffirm Strategic Partnership at OIC
Islamabad, Riyadh Pledge Closer Coordination within OIC
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister met Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah. The two leaders exchanged views on further strengthening the Pakistan-Saudi strategic partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination within the OIC to promote peace, stability, and security across the region.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdul Kareem Al-Khuraiji in Jeddah on the sidelines of the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the OIC.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The two delegations highlighted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and security domains.
The two sides also reaffirmed their resolve to continue close coordination at the platform of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
They emphasised that stronger collective efforts were essential for promoting peace, stability, and security in the region.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia expressed confidence that their ongoing collaboration would contribute to greater unity within the Muslim world and help address shared regional challenges.
