Pakistan Requests Extradition of Shehzad Akbar & Adil Raja from UK
Mohsin Naqvi stated that both individuals are wanted in Pakistan and should be handed over without delay.
ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has formally requested the United Kingdom to extradite Shehzad Akbar and Adil Raja.
British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, where both sides discussed Pakistan-UK relations, security cooperation, and issues of mutual interest. The meeting also included talks on the repatriation of Pakistanis living illegally in the UK.

During the meeting, the interior minister handed over Pakistan’s official extradition documents for Shehzad Akbar and Adil Raja to the British High Commissioner.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that both individuals are wanted in Pakistan and should be handed over without delay. He also provided solid evidence against Pakistani nationals involved in propaganda campaigns.
The interior minister said Pakistan fully supports freedom of expression but added that fake news has become a serious challenge for every country.
