ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported an average inflation rate of 4.49 percent for the fiscal year 2024-25, according to data released on Tuesday.
In June 2025, the inflation rate stood at 3.23 percent, marking an increase of 0.23 percent compared to May. Urban areas saw a 0.8 percent rise in inflation during June, with the annual inflation rate in these areas holding steady at three percent.

Rural areas experienced a 0.47 percent increase in inflation for June 2025, pushing the annual inflation rate to 3.58 percent.
