His fearless actions resulted in significant losses for the enemy as he single-handedly destroyed 16 Indian tanks. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) highlighted his active participation in every battle during the war. In one instance near Harar Khurd village, he spotted enemy tanks close to a minefield and engaged in a battle where he ultimately embraced martyrdom on December 10, 1971.
