Pakistan Passport Rises to 97th, Travel Access Expands
Pakistani Passport Improves in Henley Index, 32 Countries Accessible
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistani citizens are enjoying greater travel freedom as the Henley Passport Index for February 2026 ranks the Pakistan passport 97th, up from 98th in January and 103rd last year. According to Gulf News, Pakistan passport holders can now access 32 countries either visa-free, via visa-on-arrival (VOA), or through an electronic travel authorization (eTA), up from 31 countries in January following the reinstatement of The Gambia.
This growing mobility reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts and international agreements that are gradually expanding global access for Pakistani travelers. The accessible countries span Caribbean islands, African destinations, South Asian cultural hubs, and Pacific getaways, offering flexibility for leisure, business, and short-term travel.
