Henley Index 2026 Shows Pakistan Passport Ranking Slightly Improved Globally

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Henley Passport Index has released its latest 2026 ranking, showing a notable improvement for Pakistan’s passport.

According to the report, Pakistan has moved up three places to rank 100th globally, compared to 103rd position in 2025. The Pakistani passport now allows visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to around 30 countries.

Singapore has retained its position as the world’s strongest passport, with its citizens able to travel to 192 countries without a prior visa.

Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates share the second position in the ranking, reflecting strong global mobility.

At the other end of the index, Afghanistan remains the weakest passport, followed by Syria and Iraq.

The latest ranking highlights gradual improvements in Pakistan’s travel access, although it still remains among the lower-tier passports globally.
