Pakistan opens private Hajj applications for 2026.

Pakistan reserves Hajj spots for last year's pilgrims while opening new private applications for 2026's sacred journey.

Pakistan – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Pakistan has now started accepting applications for the 2026 private Hajj pilgrimage. A total of 37,903 new applicants can apply for this sacred journey. At the same time, special care is being taken for those who missed out last year.

Private tour groups must first offer spots to the 22,097 pilgrims who had registered but could not go previously. These operators must provide a signed document confirming they have served these pilgrims before taking on new applicants.

No immediate mini-budget, confirms chief of tax authority.

The total number of pilgrims allowed under the private scheme is 60,000. This number comfortably covers both the carried-over pilgrims and the new applicants. The government’s own Hajj application process ended on August 23rd after an amazing public response.

The quota was filled in just 17 days as people rushed to apply online and at banks. Applicants could choose between shorter or longer trip packages. They paid half the cost upfront, with the second half due later.
