Pakistan, Norway leaders discuss Middle East tensions, terrorism, and regional peace
Pakistan & Norway – (Web Desk) – Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar spoke on the phone today with Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.
Both leaders shared their serious concern about the situation in the Middle East. They talked about how it is affecting the region and the world.
They agreed that tensions must be reduced. They emphasized the importance of following international law and returning to dialogue and diplomacy to solve problems. They also discussed the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Both leaders strongly condemned all forms of terrorism. They stressed that violence should have no place anywhere.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister also conveyed condolences over the loss of lives in the Islamabad Mosque terrorist attack.

The two sides agreed to remain in close contact on bilateral and other matters of mutual interest.
