Tehran: Iran has lauded the timely intervention of Pakistan Navy, in a display of international humanitarian cooperation, for rescuing eight Iranian fishermen caught in a mishap in international waters. The gesture was hailed as a testament to the enduring friendship and brotherly ties between Iran and Pakistan, transcending borders.

According to details shared by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, in a statement, the rescue operation conducted by Pakistan Navy received accolades for its swift and effective response in safeguarding the lives of the stranded fishermen. The spokesperson emphasized that Iran and Pakistan stand together in challenging times, demonstrating solidarity and cooperation on the principles of rescue and humanitarian compassion.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan Navy successfully executed a rescue operation to save the Iranian fishermen in distress at sea. During the operation, a Pakistani naval vessel promptly responded to an emergency call from a distressed fishing boat engulfed in flames.
