Pakistan's U19 World Championship Entry Boosts Volleyball's Future

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) has announced a provisional squad of 15 promising young players who will vie for selection in the final team to represent the country at the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship.

The tournament, set to take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from July 21 to August 3, marks Pakistan’s highly anticipated first appearance among the world’s elite youth teams.

The roster includes a blend of emerging talent and tested performers:

From this list, the final squad of 12 players will be named ahead of the team’s departure.

Pakistan U19 Squad Volleyball will compete in Group A alongside Belgium, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Puerto Rico, and Argentina. The competition is expected to be intense, with matches scheduled between July 24 and July 29.

The final 12-player squad will be confirmed in the coming days, as the team enters the last phase of preparations before heading to Uzbekistan.
