Pakistan Invited to Join 2025-26 FIH Pro League After New Zealand Withdrawal

The 2024-25 season concluded with the Dutch men’s and women’s teams being crowned champions.

Lausanne – The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has extended an official invitation to Pakistan to join the 2025-26 FIH Hockey Pro League Men’s season. This comes after Hockey New Zealand announced their decision not to participate in the upcoming season, despite winning the FIH Hockey Nations Cup last month.

According to FIH regulations, the runner-up of the Nations Cup is offered the vacant spot, making Pakistan eligible for entry. The Pakistan Hockey Association now has until August 12 to confirm whether they will accept the invitation.

The 2024-25 season concluded with the Dutch men’s and women’s teams being crowned champions. The upcoming season will mark the seventh edition of the prestigious “League of the Best.”
