Pakistan, Indonesia voice concern over escalating Middle East crisis
Pakistan, Indonesia leaders discuss Middle East crisis, urge restraint, dialogue, and cooperation while reviewing regional developments including Afghanistan situation.
Pakistan and Indonesia have voiced serious concern over the worsening crisis in the Middle East.
The issue was discussed during a phone call today between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran, as well as the unfortunate attacks on other Gulf countries. He briefed President Subianto on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to engage with all Gulf nations in response to the escalating situation.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of restraint and agreed to collaborate in encouraging all parties to resolve their differences through constructive dialogue and diplomacy.
Update on Petrol Supply in Pakistan amid Iran War
During the telephone call, the Prime Minister also briefed President Prabowo Subianto on recent developments vis-a-vis Afghanistan. The two leaders agreed to remain in close contact in coming days.
