ISLAMABAD: The official schedule for the Asia Cup 2025 has been announced, with group stage matches set to take place from September 9 to 19. The tournament will feature eight teams, divided into two groups, and promises high-stakes cricket action across the region.

The opening match of the tournament will be held on September 9, featuring Afghanistan vs. Hong Kong.

Group Distribution:

  • Group A: Pakistan, India, UAE, Oman

  • Group B: Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong

Pakistan will begin its Asia Cup campaign on September 12 against Oman. The highly anticipated showdown between arch-rivals Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 14, a match expected to draw millions of viewers globally.
