Pakistan hockey to open Pro League 2025-26 in Argentina this December

ISLAMABAD: The schedule for the 2025-26 Pro Hockey League has been revealed, with the Pakistan hockey team set to begin its campaign in Argentina this December.

According to the announced fixtures, Pakistan will kick off its journey with matches in Argentina from December 9 to 14, 2025. During this leg, the national team will play against the Netherlands and the host nation Argentina.

In February 2026, Pakistan will head to Perth, Australia, where they will lock horns with Germany and the Australian team. These matches are expected to be crucial as the side tests itself against two world-class opponents.

Pakistan’s campaign will continue in June 2026 with matches scheduled against Belgium and Spain. These fixtures will be key opportunities for the team to measure its progress against strong European sides.

The Pro League will also feature important matches in England, where Pakistan is expected to play against arch-rivals India as well as the host team, England. This leg of the tournament is likely to draw major attention, given the intensity of Pakistan-India encounters.

While major fixtures have already been confirmed, the complete schedule of the Pro Hockey League 2025-26 will be officially released on September 17.
