Pakistan gold prices soar by Rs6,000, reach historic peak
The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce climbing by $60 to reach $3,540.
KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan and globally has reached new record highs, marking the highest rate ever in the country.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by a massive Rs6,000 on Wednesday to reach Rs376,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold hiked by Rs5,144, taking it to Rs322,959.

The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce climbing by $60 to reach $3,540.
The silver prices in Pakistan also saw the same trend, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs12 to reach Rs4,315, and the price for 10 grams of silver going to Rs3,699.
