Pakistan Finalizes 18-Member Squad for Paris Olympics

With preparations in full swing, the shooting team is scheduled to depart for Paris on July 19, followed by swimmers and officials on July 22, and the athletics team on July 24.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has confirmed its 18-member squad for the upcoming Paris Olympics, featuring athletes from athletics, shooting, and swimming disciplines set to compete from July 26 onwards. The squad includes notable names like Arshad Nadeem and Faiqa Riaz in athletics, aiming to bring home medals.
Shooter Kashmala Talat and Arshad Nadeem are contenders to lead the national team during the opening ceremony, highlighting Pakistan’s aspirations for success in the international arena. Ghulam Mustafa Bashir, Kashmala Talat, and Gulfam Joseph form part of the shooting team, supported by coaches Gandy and Junaid Ali.
In swimming, Ahmed Durrani, Ahmad Ali Khan, and Jahan Ara are set to represent Pakistan, bolstered by team officials including Haji Mohammad Shafiq and administration support from Zainab Shaukat and Dr. Misaq Rizvi.
