Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai confirmed that several countries, both regional and international, have offered to mediate between Tehran and Washington. Baqai also acknowledged Pakistan’s role, stating that Iran has good relations with Pakistan and believes that the country is acting with sincere intentions in the diplomatic efforts.
