Earlier, Shadman Salam (10), Najamul Hasan (4), Mushfiqur Rahim (3), Saqib ul Hasan (2), Zakir Hasan (1), and Momin ul Haq (1) all fell cheaply, leaving Bangladesh struggling.

Pakistan had scored 274 runs in the first innings, and Bangladesh won the toss, opting to field. The visitors now face an uphill task to avoid the follow-on and stay in the game.
