Pakistan Defeats UAE by 31 Runs in Tri-Nation T20 Series

Abu Dhabi (Sports Desk) — Pakistan secured a 31-run victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match of the Tri-Nation T20 Series held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to bat first and posted a formidable total of 207 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Despite an early setback with the dismissal of Sahibzada Farhan (8) at just 9 runs, the Pakistani batting order recovered strongly.
Opener Saim Ayub was the standout performer, smashing 69 runs off 38 balls, including 4 sixes and 7 fours. He was well supported by Hassan Nawaz, who scored a quick-fire 56 runs, featuring 6 sixes and 2 fours.
Other contributions came from Mohammad Nawaz (25), Faheem Ashraf (16), and Hassan Ali (9).
Pakistan’s batting lineup closed at 207, setting UAE a tough target of 208 runs.
For UAE, Junaid Siddique and Sagheer Khan each picked up 3 wickets, while Haider Ali claimed 2 wickets, providing brief moments of resistance.
In response, UAE managed 176 runs in their 20 overs, falling short by 31 runs. Asif Khan was the top scorer for the Emiratis with a valiant 77-run knock. Captain Muhammad Waseem added 33, while Dhruv Parashanth (15), Mohammad Zuhaib (13), Sagheer Khan (11), and Rahul Chopra (11) also contributed.

However, Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack kept the UAE batters in check.
Hasan Ali led the charge with 3 wickets, followed by Mohammad Nawaz with 2 wickets, while Salman Mirza and Saim Ayub took one wicket each.
This win marks Pakistan’s second consecutive victory in the Tri-Nation T20 Series, solidifying their position at the top of the table. The result also puts pressure on the other participating team as the race to the final intensifies.
The Tri-Nation Series continues with the next match scheduled in the coming days as teams battle for supremacy ahead of the T20 World Cup preparations.
