Pakistan Defeats Australia 2-0 to Reach World Junior Squash Championship Quarterfinals

Pakistan will face Colombia in the semifinals.

Houston: Pakistan has advanced to the quarterfinals of the World Junior Squash Championship by defeating Australia 2-0.

In a dominant display, Pakistan overcame Australia in the pre-quarterfinals with ease. Abdullah Nawaz secured a 3-0 victory over Haider Naqvi in the first match, while former world junior champion and national captain Muhammad Hamza Khan triumphed 3-0 against Thomas Scott in the second match.

Pakistan will face Colombia in the semifinals.

During the group stage, Pakistan had already showcased their strength by defeating Germany and the formidable New Zealand teams.
