Pakistan Defeat Sri Lanka by 6 Wickets to Win Tri-Nation T20 Series Final
Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz picked up 3 wickets each, while Abrar Ahmed claimed 2.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan clinched the Tri-Nation T20 Series title after defeating Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final match played in Rawalpindi.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. Sri Lanka struggled against the Pakistani bowling attack and were bowled out for 114 runs in 20 overs.
Kamal Mishra was the standout performer for Sri Lanka with 59 runs, while Kusal Mendis scored 14 and Pathum Nissanka added 11. No other Sri Lankan batter could withstand the Pakistani bowlers.
For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz picked up 3 wickets each, while Abrar Ahmed claimed 2.

Chasing the target of 115, Pakistan reached the total in the 19th over with 4 wickets in hand. Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 37, while Saim Ayub contributed 36 and Sahibzada Farhan added 23 runs. Salman Ali Agha scored 14, and Fakhar Zaman was dismissed for 3.
From Sri Lanka, Pawan Rathnayake took 2 wickets.
Pakistan made one change to their playing XI for the final, bringing back Shaheen Afridi in place of Mohammad Wasim Jr. Sri Lanka made no changes to their lineup.
