Under-19 World Cup Pakistan dismiss India for 252

Bulawayo: Pakistan dismissed arch-rivals India for 252 runs in 49.5 overs during their Super Sixes clash of the ICC Under-19 World Cup in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Chasing a place in the semi-finals, Pakistan now need to score 253 runs within 33.3 overs, or can extend the chase to 34.3 overs if they reach the target with a six. After choosing to bowl first, Pakistan’s bowlers applied consistent pressure, though India’s lower middle order added crucial runs late in the innings.

Khilan Patel and Kanishk Chouhan disrupted Pakistan’s plans in the death overs, while earlier Vedant Trivedi anchored the innings with a solid 68. Pakistan struck early when Sayyam removed both openers in the eighth over, triggering a collapse from 47 without loss to 47 for three. Subhan later cleaned up the middle order, finishing with figures of 3 for 33, while Sayyam claimed two wickets.
