PCB Confirms Participation, Will Skip T20 Match Against India
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) — The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed claims circulating in the Indian media that it has decided not to play its match against India in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
A PCB spokesperson said the reports are false, adding, “Time will tell who knocked on whose door.” The controversy arose after the Pakistani government announced a boycott of the India match in the T20 World Cup, citing alleged double standards by the ICC regarding Bangladesh.

Sources indicate that the ICC contacted the PCB regarding the matter, and the board has officially responded. The ICC has also reportedly reached out to other cricket boards to address the issue.
It remains confirmed that Pakistan will participate in the T20 World Cup but will not face India in the group-stage match scheduled for February 15, citing solidarity with Bangladesh and concerns over ICC decisions.
