Pakistan beats Austria 4-2 in FIH World Cup Qualifier match

Pakistan hockey team defeated Austria 4-2 with strong teamwork, staying unbeaten in the World Cup Qualifier Round and moving confidently toward semi-finals.

Pakistan Hockey Team – (Web Desk) – In the third match of the FIH Men’s World Cup Qualifier Round, played from March 1st to 7th, Pakistan defeated Austria by four goals to two.

For Pakistan, Abu Bakar Mahmood scored twice, while Afraz and Muhammad Sufyan Khan scored one goal each. From the Austrian side, Kellner and Scholz each managed to score one goal.

The President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Mahyuddin Ahmed Wani, along with the Chairmen of Ad-hoc Governance and Management, Olympian Islahuddin Siddiqui, Olympian Hassan Sardar, and Chief Selector Samiullah Khan, congratulated the national team on their undefeated success in the World Cup Qualifier Round and expressed their best wishes for the semi-finals.
