Pakistan Batters Can Bounce Back Stronger in Second Innings: Khurram Shahzad

Rawalpindi-Pakistan fast bowler Khurram Shahzad expressed optimism about his team’s chances of winning the second Test against Bangladesh, saying the batters have the potential to rebound in the second innings on day four.

Addressing a press conference after day three, Shahzad acknowledged Bangladesh’s strong comeback in the first innings, but emphasized that Pakistan had controlled the match for a session on day three.

He praised the unpredictability of the red-ball format, noting that situations can change quickly. Shahzad, who took six wickets in the first innings, said Pakistan will take to the field on Monday with a positive mindset, focused on winning the match.

“We will look forward to winning the match,” he said. “It’s the beauty of the red-ball format that the situation changes swiftly.”
