Pakistan Awaits Saudi Decision on Request for More Pilgrimage Spots

Pakistan – Saudi Arabia – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) -Pakistan has officially asked Saudi Arabia for more Hajj spots. The country’s leaders say the current number no longer matches its large and growing population.

The request was confirmed by Federal Minister Sardar Yousaf. He shared that a formal letter has been sent. The government is now patiently waiting for a reply from Saudi officials.

Right now, Pakistan’s quota allows 230,000 people to perform Hajj. The minister pointed out that the country’s population has now soared past 230 million. The appeal is for Saudi Arabia to update the quota to better reflect this larger number.
