ISLAMABAD — In a proud moment for the nation, Pakistan Army’s team has won the Gold Medal at the prestigious Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025, held in Wales, United Kingdom, from October 3 to 13. The team, led by Captain Muhammad Saad, delivered an exceptional performance among some of the world’s most elite military units.
Celebrating its 66th edition, Exercise Cambrian Patrol is regarded as one of the toughest military endurance events globally. Participants are tested on physical stamina, tactical acumen, and professional military skills in a challenging environment. This year, teams were required to navigate 60 kilometers of rugged terrain within 48 hours, completing a series of complex tasks under simulated combat conditions.

A total of 137 teams from 36 countries took part in this year’s competition. Despite the intense pressure and high standards, Pakistan Army’s contingent stood out, showcasing remarkable discipline, planning, and execution — earning them the coveted Gold Medal.
This victory highlights the professionalism, resilience, and world-class training standards of the Pakistan Army. Known for its operational excellence, the Army once again demonstrated its ability to perform at the highest level on an international stage.
