Pakistan Army Warns India Against Aggression, Cites Risk of Mutual Destruction

Pakistan Army reaffirmed its readiness and resolve to defend the nation.

RAWALPINDI – The Pakistan Army has issued a strongly worded statement condemning recent remarks by senior Indian military officials, calling them “delusional, jingoistic, and dangerous.” The statement, released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan’s military media wing, comes amid rising tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors and has sparked renewed concerns over regional stability in South Asia.

According to the ISPR, the aggressive rhetoric from Indian officials appears to be part of a broader effort to manufacture pretexts for potential military action. “Such irresponsible statements are not only provocative but also threaten the fragile peace in the region,” the statement read.

The military accused India of attempting to portray itself as a victim on the global stage, while simultaneously engaging in actions that fuel violence and terrorism across South Asia. The ISPR claimed that this narrative is losing traction internationally, as the global community begins to recognize what it described as India’s destabilizing role in the region.

Citing previous military confrontations between the two countries, the ISPR reminded India of the significant losses it suffered, including the downing of fighter jets and the looming threat of Pakistan’s long-range missile capabilities. It warned that any repetition of past aggression would be met with “swift, decisive, and destructive” retaliation.

The statement also emphasized Pakistan’s ability to conduct strikes deep within Indian territory, dispelling any assumptions of geographic immunity. In response to recent threats from Indian officials about “erasing Pakistan,” the ISPR issued a grave warning: “Any such attempt would be met with mutual destruction.”

Concluding its statement, the Pakistan Army reaffirmed its readiness and resolve to defend the nation. “Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared and capable of responding to any misadventure. A miscalculation by India could lead to consequences that would be catastrophic for the entire region.”

The escalation in rhetoric underscores the fragile nature of peace between the two countries, both of which possess nuclear capabilities. Regional observers and the international community are now urging restraint and dialogue to avoid a potential crisis.
